well we are all home safe & sound. It was a rough trip. Tuesday I left the office at 11am & we got to Durban at 5:30. Keira was a real angel during the whole trip.
Wednesday morning we met the social worker at 9am & went with her to the childens home which was another hours drive away, we spent time with the baby & were informed that we were going to court on Thursday and not Friday. So we spent the rest of the day running around for extra supplys as we had only brough enough with us to fetch her on Friday. I now own 2 camp cots.
Thursday at court was really painless & have an order saying we are Stephanie's gardiens until the adoption goes through. After court we went back to the childrens home to fetch our bundle of joy.
Guys let me tell you our girl is HUGE. She is 8 months old & weighs 10 kgs & wears aged 12-18 month clothes. I will not need gym as I get alot of exercise lifting her.
Friday we drove 1/2 way home & stayed over at a B&B it was great.
Saturday we drove the rest of the way. Both girls were really good. When we were about an hour from home we called the boys to warn them thus giving them time to clean up the bomb blast they made of the house while we were away.
Am back at work & wishing I was home with my girls. Keira is very protective of the baby & tells everyone who will listern that its HER sister & MOMMYs baby. too cute. there are pics on the family website just click on her name.
If there are lots of spelling mistakes I apologise am tooo tired to check them
hugs to all
