Things have been a little stressful in our household....

Vj has come of his bike & has a few bumps & bruises to prove it, his bike is a bit battered.

Steffys adoption papers are on the commisioner of the childrens courts desk so hopefully we will have some good news soon.

GB is growing like a weed but we do not get to see him often which is sad. Hopefully this will change in the near future as Vj is now seeking help in this regard.

R had an op to remove cancer from her uterus ... very scarey

Keira is loving school & is becoming more bossy.....am sure she even trys to boss her teacher around.

Daniel he is doing well & so far is the only kid not adding to my collection of grey hair.

Work has just been getting to much for me so DH took it upon himself to demand that I get leave... it worked I am off to the coast at the end of March believe me I am so excited.

While we are away Vj turns 18 my little boy becomes an adult... I have promised to make it a day he will never forget....

I am still very keen on another baby but DH is worried that I am spreading myself to thin.. My theory is that if it is ment to be it will happen.....(with a bit of a nudge from me)

Hope you are all well.....its the first real family holiday we are taking..... does going to ones parents for a week count as a holiday?

Wow its been awhile since I have written here, work is busy as usual I must be honest & say I need a break but I do not see that happening in the near future as my assistant will be on maternity leave soon.

The kids are all doing well, Orian is trying to get to spend more time with his son. Daniel is doing great. Keira has started crèche & is now driving me nuts over the weekends as she wants to play with her friends, she has also started ballet… too cute. Steffy has really come out of her shell & is not afraid of her own voice, she & Keira fight like cat & dog, its really funny watching them.

GB is walking he is such a cutie.

Orian & I both have bikes now … yeah I am granny on a bike, I had to get one as DH has been out of town a lot & I have no other way to get to work. The bosses almost had a melt down when they found out about the bike..* evil Grin*.

On the adoption front, Steffy’s adoption has not yet been finalized it looks like the courts have lost a few of the documents, this is not making me or our social worker happy as we are already working on the next adoption… yeah you read write looks like we are doing this adoption thing again…. This will be the last time… we are looking at a little boy we will name him Ethan (once we are matched) DH is still not 100% sure about this adoption but I am sure I can get him over to the darkside…

well school starts again on the 9th for DAniel, Vj will only start again on the 28th in the mean time he will have to do some revison. Keira starts creche on the 1/02/2008.

I have decided that I reall do not like Murphy. We have been having some car trouble to be exact tyre trouble. Last month we had one of our tyre blow out so we put the spare on ... then yeasterday morning we noticed that the front left tyre was flat so we had it pumped up only to discover that it had to be pumped up every 2 hours... ok so it was time to get new tyre so we called around found some for a good price & left work early to have them fitted... yeah right!!! we a just around the corner like about 1 Kilometer away when we hear an almighty bang & you guessed it, another blow out.... Anyway DH called all the ppl in the area we knew for help eventualy his sister came to our rescue & we now have 2 brand new tyres on my car.... am not even going to mention his car right now (another murphy attack I tell you)

well this morning I sat with DH & pitched my case about adopting a little boy. I explained the financial implications & the fact that we already have everything for a baby so there will be no big financial outlay to start with....I could see the wheels turning in his mind so I left it at that for a bit.....

Then I called the Agency we got the girls from under the pretexted of wishing them a Merry Christmas & peaceful new year. After a short chat with the head of the Homefinding team I mentioned that we are thinking about adopting again, the social worker was very interested & wanted to know what sex we where looking for & when would we be looking at fetching the baby. So I said a boy & only in March. To which she replied " I see no problem with that as we know your family very well & there are a lot of boys looking for good homes" She suggested that once we had totally made up our minds we just need to send her an email informing her that we want a little boy around March & any other specifications. She also mentioned that the cut off age for adopting through tem is 45 so I have plenty of time to adopt a few more kids .

In the mean time I will be putting a photo profile together as well as get copies of all the needed documents. I did say that if we do adopt again we would really like one with out any complications like what we have had with both the girls.

Now I will give DH a few days to stew & think about what I said. In the mean time R has agreed to let me have GB's clothes he has out grown. This will help a lot. I also have to thik about the age of the bay we want to take on. I have to admit that it feels as if steffy has grown up way to quickly but them we got her when she was 8 months old. Yeah I know that the younger he is the less sleep I will be getting....oh drat .... what to do? I guess i will eave it in there hands & let them match us with the baby they feel is correct for our family. This is if I can convince DH to go for it....

Well we are off to a friends tonight to see the New year in & I will be back at work on the 2nd... Have a wonderful & safe 2008.

Well after chatting to a frined of mine who has adopted 3 kids about wanting to adopt again & poor Dh's reaction to my "BRIGHT" idea she gave me a few sneaky tips on how to convince him. Here is how she does it.... she keeps talking about the new baby as if its a done deal... then after awhile her DH actually thinks its his idea... pure evil I really like this girls style. She has managed to adopt 3 kids in one year, one of which is a special needs child, wow.... I have a lot of respect for her. She is a great mom & is doing a wonderful job with her new brood.
